Development and Society  provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for new research and ideas on social, cultural, political as well as economic development. In partucular, it welcomes contributions that analyze various social causes and consequences of development, discuss alternative and sustainable forms of development, and/or propose new strategies for improving human conditions.

Development and Society  is published twice a year in June and December by the Institute for Social Development and Policy Reaserch(ISDPR) with the financial support from Seoul National University(SNU). Development and Society was certified and rated A by the Korea Research Foundation.
